More fish... Laduree, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower

I had back to back classes again today, a demo and a practical. We're on "Part 2" for our series on fish. On the menu for today: breaded and deep fried stips of sole, green sauce (mayonnaise with chlorophyll), salmon escalope with sorrel, and brill fillets in a white wine sauce with potatoes anglaise.

After class, Quinn and I went headed to Champs Elysees to one of our favs, Laduree. Apparently, you can't sit inside for tea and dessert when it's dinner time so we sat out on the terrace. I had the Saint Honore (puff pastry with pastry cream, chantilly, caramel, and almonds) and the chocolat chaud. Quinn had his fav tarte tatin and cafe creme.

We sat on the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower, hung out, and took pics. It's so beautiful at night and so romantic! There were tons of people having picnics and drinking wine. I can't wait to go back for a picnic!!
