Rue de Buci

We walked to St. Germain (6th arrondissement) and strolled along Rue de Buci where the street is lined with cafés, restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, glaciers and more. Some of the restaurants had seafood stands outside. At one, they had sea urchins, langoustines, shrimp, and oysters galore.

We met up with Brian and Diana for lunch and decided on L'Atlas since we were craving oysters. Just like the French, we had a long, multi-course lunch late in the afternoon. I'm not quite sure how I'll be able to go back to the States and rush through lunch at the office, eating lunch at my desk.

After lunch, Brian and Diana headed to Musée D'Orsay, and Quinn and I went a couple of doors down to enjoy a nice, hot cup of chocolat chaud along with some chocolate truffles at Cacao et Chocolat. This location was a different one than the first Cacao et Chocolat we went to in le Marais, and it had a cute little seating area in the back of the store where we were able to sit and relax for awhile.

A friend of a friend of Quinn's lives in Paris so we met up with him and his girlfriend at Au Caveau Montpesier for drinks. It was a hidden, little gem near Palais Royal where just about everyone spoke English.

We had a really late dinner at the Lebanese restaurant on Montorgueil by the appart. We'd been meaning to try it for awhile since it's so close, but it was a bit of a dissapointment. The smile on Quinn's face would lead you to think otherwise. :-)
