Our first stop was Fauchon, which is famed to be one of the finest food shops in Paris. There, we had pain au chocolat (our daily dose!) and macaroons (yummm!).
We entered L'église de la Madeleine, and a concert was being put on by the chorale from East Tennessee State University so we stopped in to listen to a few songs.
On the way home, we were walking along the Jardin des Tuileries, and I had to take a picture of this French poodle... how fitting!
I finally was able to make use of my kitchen by making a nice, simple dinner of arugula salad and some pasta. Shopping at the local fruit and vegetable markets was quite an experience. It's amazing how fresh their produce is here!
