It's the middle of the night... I woke up and can't go back to sleep. I guess that means that the "No Jet-Lag" pills at the travel store didn't work! Doh! At least it gives me time to blog, check e-mail, and un-pack...
After a smooth flight (with many more entertainment options than I'm used to on my Southwest flights), I'm here in Paris! We arrived this afternoon, took the RER train to the "appart," and headed out for a bite to eat at Cafe Marie Stuart. We picked the most "adventurous" items on the menu, beef tartare and risotto with cuttlefish ink, and they were super delish! We followed that up with our first taste of the Parisian pain au chocolat (one of the main reasons for coming to Paris, of course), and I was in heaven.
Gerce! I'm reminded of the chocolate croissants we used to get at the Nordstrom cafe but of course I'm sure the one you had is way more betterer. Please do post pics of the appart. Have fun!
